How clearing clutter helps you to lose weight more easily

It’s really important to keep on top of the clutter challenge.

Clutter has a habit of re-forming very frequently so that even if you have a good clear-out session form time to time, you find that after a few weeks or few months the problem might be as bad as before.
So it’s important to develop a regular clutter clearing habit.

This could be doing something such as:

  • making sure that before you go to bed all dirty plates and cups are cleaned and put away in their appropriate places
  • picking up your clothes
  • folding your clothes
  • throwing away any food which has deteriorated in cupboard or refrigerator
  • developing a regular routine for all these tasks

Any routine may seem to be difficult to implement at first. That’s why you can make a positive choice to persist and realise that when you do so the eventual outcome will be worth waiting for.

A new habit will eventually become something that you do almost without thinking. Being tidy and clearing away things you no longer want need or love  from your life will have very positive benefits for you. Some of these are that you will become:

  • less stressed because you won’t have to spend so long looking for things you can’t find
  • used to living in a clearer and cleaner environment
  • more focussed in your thinking because of less distractions
  • able to resist eating too much because you will have the space to prepare more healthy and tasty meals in addition to feeling less tense.
  • more organised and less frustrated because you will know where things are
  • more able to complete other tasks which have remained unfinished for a long time.

So make a start right now: clear the space immediately by you.

Perhaps you might put some pens away in a jar or tidy your computer wires or remove you old coffee cup from your desk.

It has been said that the outside environment in which you live is a reflection of your inner self. When inanimate objects start to break down and need repairing take a moment to reflect  (unlikely as it might seem to be) what connection there might be between your outer and inner world.

Has your washing machine stopped working just when you are feeling stressed about having  visitors and you need to wash a load of extra sheets and bed linen? It’s remarkable how you can often find connections and how clearing clutter has so much benefit.
